Facts about Sunscreen : |
| |
Sunscreens provide some protection by blocking the sun's rays on the skin. |
| |
They are labeled with a sun protection factor (SPF): the higher the SPF, the greater the protection against harmful sun rays. |
| |
Sunscreen does not totally block the sun's rays and doesn’t allow you to increase your time outdoor. |
| |
| |
Use of Sunscreen : |
| |
Make sure you use enough sunscreen; half a handful (approximately 20ml) is usually enough for your body, about 30 minutes before going outside. |
| |
Re-apply sunscreen several times during a day in the sun. Remember that some sunscreens come off through contact with water, sweating, or rubbing with a towel. |
| |
Ask someone to help you apply sunscreen to the areas you cannot reach. |
